Sara Houghton trained at The Oxford School of Drama. Theatre credits include Mrs Gao in The Sugar Coated Bullets of the Bourgeoisie (Arcola Theatre), Mary in The Last Days of Limehouse (Yellow Earth/New Earth Theatre), Lady Nijo/Win in Top Girls (Watford Palace Theatre and Greenwich Theatre), Ying in Three Thousand Troubled Threads (Lyceum Edinburgh), Aminta in Don Juan (BAC), Hermia in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Lyric Hammersmith), Minnehaha in Hiawatha (Haymarket Theatre Basingstoke) and the title role in Miss Julie, also for the Haymarket Theatre.
Film work includes The Omen 666 (20th Century Fox), Doom (Universal), Arabian Nights (Hallmark) and The Temple Project (PGW Productions).
