Kate grew up in Perth, Australia where she led an active childhood involving netball, horse-riding and surf-life saving. Whilst studying International Relations at university, Kate immersed herself in theatre and film productions, including performing at the Perth Fringe and playing Viola in Twelfth Night, which won her a Best Newcomer Award. Kate is a dual British/Australian citizen with English and Scottish heritage, plays a little ukulele and is learning German.
