Leisa is a North Welsh actor and a fluent Welsh speaker. Prior to training at OSD she worked on Rocket’s Island, the BAFTA nominated children’s series for CBBC before going on to work on the Welsh-language soap Rownd a Rownd for nearly 8 years. More recently, she was the lead in S4C’s Itopia which won a Celtic Media Award for best children’s programme. She has over 10 years experience in voiceover work for animation, including ‘Lily’ in the Welsh Peter Rabbit series based on Beatrix Potter’s children’s books. Having sung in various choirs and as a
soloist internationally she loves any opportunity to incorporate music into her acting work. After working as a child actor she is very much looking forward to returning to the industry as a grown-up!
