Vacancies at The Oxford School of Drama

Arts Administration Internship

The Oxford School of Drama is seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Arts Administration Intern to join our team from September 2026.

This hands-on, entry-level role offers the opportunity to gain practical experience across a busy and ambitious conservatoire, working in admissions, productions, marketing, student services and operations. No two days are the same — one day you might support auditions or student events, the next you could be helping deliver productions, assisting with marketing activity, or supporting the day-to-day running of the School.

You’ll work closely with students, tutors, visiting creatives and staff, gaining a unique insight into how one of the UK’s leading drama schools operates. Alongside day-to-day responsibilities, you’ll also lead a longer-term project shaped around your interests and the needs of the School.

This role would suit someone at the start of their career who is organised, positive, curious about the arts and eager to learn. We are looking for someone ready to contribute to the life of a small, dynamic conservatoire and grow their skills in arts administration.

Contract: 10 months fixed-term (September 2026 – July 2027)
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:15am–6:15pm
Salary: £20,833 pro rata (FTE £25,000)
Location: Oxford School of Drama, near Woodstock (own transport required)

Application deadline: Friday 3 July, 5pm.

We are looking for an experienced voice practitioner to step into this senior leadership role for up to a year, make a meaningful contribution to our students and curriculum, and bring their practice to bear within a passionate and dynamic faculty. If you are ready for your next creative challenge, we’d love to hear from you.
