Charity Wakefield, who can currently be seen on BBC2 in Stephen Poliakoff’s Close to the Enemy as Julia, will step into some different shoes to play Dr Who’s companion in the one-off Christmas Special. A trailer has just been released, showing Charity as Lucy Fletcher, a reporter from a New York newspaper The Daily Chronicle.
