She began directing theatre in the late 90s, assisting James Neale-Kennerley (Gay Sweatshop), before co-founding two organisations – Moving Arts Initiative, which devised mixed media storytelling events for families in Peckham, and Dirty Market, an innovative Bricolage-inspired performance group. Georgina has been teaching acting, especially the Stanislavski technique and Uta Hagen’s approach, for over 20 years. She has directed over 30 student productions for DCL, DSL, LSDA, London South Bank University and others.
