Oyin is a British-Nigerian actor from Barnet, North West London. Raised by parents who encouraged exploration, she grew up immersed in singing, dance, and netball. It was the lingering impact of childhood visits to theatres and cinemas that led her to join the National Youth Theatre at fifteen, where her passion for storytelling took root. Alongside her creative pursuits, Oyin studied Politics, Philosophy and Economics at Durham University, participating in musicals and also strengthening a long-held commitment to social impact. She interned in Environmental, Social, and Governance roles at the United Nations-supported Principles of Responsible Investment and founded a winter clothing bank (an ongoing project extremely close to her heart). Oyin believes storytelling can uniquely shift paradigms. She’s determined to tell stories that challenge society, inviting reflection, sparking empathy, hope, and positive change.
