Upcoming Short Courses
At OSD we run online and in-person short acting courses at the School to build your experience and confidence as an actor. Tutors on the courses are either part of the School’s acting faculty or are industry professionals with a wealth of experience.
Our short courses for this coming year will be available to book from late September.

Please note: Online courses are designed for actors over the age of 17+ only. In-person courses are for 18+ years only.
All applicants will be considered but group sizes are limited so we recommend that you apply as early as possible to secure a place.

I want to apply for a short course, what happens next?
- When a course is open for booking we will notify you via the monthly newsletter. Please sign up to the newsletter to receive notification.
- To apply, please click on the applicable ‘click to book course’ button and fill in the application form. Please include any information that will help us decide your suitability for the course. By clicking “Submit” you will complete your application for that particular short course.
- The School will be in touch within three weeks of receiving your application. Your suitability for the course will have been assessed and if a place is available, you will be emailed the link to sign in to your account to pay for the course; which you are required to do within two days of receiving the email. Your place is not confirmed on the course until payment has been made. If you have any questions before making the payment or you are no longer able to attend the course, please email auditions@oxforddrama.ac.uk.
- For in-person courses, there are various options for staying nearby and there is free parking available at the School.
