She/Her

Eleanor O’Brien is an Irish Film and Television Academy-nominated actor from Limerick, Ireland, passionate about storytelling that moves both body and heart. She was nominated for the Leading Actress award at the 2026 IFTAs for her role in the feature film Báite. She is thrilled to have trained at The Oxford School of Drama, a space that sparked her imagination and fuelled her artistic spirit. Fluent in Irish, she enjoys weaving her heritage into her performances and is committed to environmental rights, believing that theatre can inspire reflection and change. She thrives in playful, collaborative spaces where ideas spark and grow. Offstage, Eleanor adores food — a shared meal or a simple gift of food feels to her like the purest form of love. She loves cold dips, skiing, and long, restorative massages. Curious, bold, and joyful, she brings heart, imagination, and energy to every role she plays.
