Anna grew up in Derby, the youngest of five siblings. As a child, she was a chorister for many years and enjoyed competitive swimming. However, it was her participation in professional productions of Kes and Cinderella at Derby Theatre as a teen that sparked her passion for acting. She developed her craft through the National Youth Theatre, RADA short courses, Derby Theatre and Oxford Playhouse young companies (the latter of which she has since worked for professionally as an assistant director and facilitator). Prior to training at the Oxford School of Drama, she gained a First in History of Art at the University of Oxford, and co-founded Scratch the Rat theatre company. Anna loves to write and is interested in exploring neurodivergence, mental health and grief in her work. In her spare time, she enjoys felting, ballroom dancing and spending time with her family.
