Freya grew up in a household with storytelling at its heart and discovered her love for theatre early, performing at Bedford’s Quarry Theatre. She pursued her passions, studying on the Foundation Course at Drama Centre London and the BA in Acting at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. Her professional credits post-training include ‘Twelfth Night’ (The Attic Theatre, Stratford) and the BBC’s ‘Doctors’. She continued to develop her craft by pursuing physical theatre through short courses at L’École Internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq and Temper Theatre. She performed her first original piece at Voila! Theatre Festival in London and the International Independent Theatre Festival in the Netherlands. Eager to explore new creative paths, she decided to return to training and gained a place at OSD. When Freya is not acting, she is cooking, playing the piano and scouring charity shops; she also recently started a book club!
