Gabriel H. Zonana is the Applied Movement Tutor at the School, working across all of our courses. He is a teacher, theatre maker, performer and game developer who specialises in Physical Theatre. He trained as an actor in Brazil before graduating from the Ecole Jacques Lecoq in Paris and the MFA Movement: Directing and Teaching at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
Gabriel is one of the founders of Teatro Fósforo, a Brazilian Physical Theatre company that created and produced 100+ performances and offered Lecoq-based workshops. He has credits as an actor, director, assistant-director, and movement-director, as well as writer for TV (Contos do Edgar, produced by Fernando Meirelles and O2 Filmes for FOX).
Gabriel has lived and worked in several countries and since 2017 is based in London. He works across several UK Drama Schools as well as in the industry – particularly in Motion Capture for video games (Baldur’s Gate 3, Larian Studios and PitStop Productions).
