John is an award-winning Theatre Director, Maker, and published Playwright. He originally trained as a theatre director at Rose Bruford and is Associate Director of Red Ladder Theatre Company and founder of DumbWise. He has worked with venues including Liverpool Everyman, Tobacco Factory Theatres, Secret Cinema, Barbican Theatre, Stafford Gatehouse and Greenwich Theatre. As a teacher he has taught extensively at universities and drama schools nationwide including more recently at Mountview and Leeds Conservatoire.
