This course really does unlock screen acting! I thought i knew so much about the industry but after listening Ed and all his knowledge, i found out, i knew nothing. It was a wonderful four day experience and i cannot thank OSD enough for it. I met and made friends with new people and during the class my passion for acting just kept growing!

It is rare you meet someone with both extensive screen acting and directing experience, and even rarer they are a consummate teacher. Ed Hick's teaching and content on the 'Unlocking... Screen Acting' course is truly excellent. The course provides an overview of the filming process tailored specifically to the needs and demands of the actor, followed by paired exercises in screen acting recorded and reviewed by professionals with expert feedback. As a well-rested theatre actor returning to the craft, the notes and advice from Ed were invaluable, and his passion for supporting actors to deliver their best is inspirational. In short - train at OSD, you will not be disappointed!

Just wanted to say thank you for the course. I found it very helpful in figuring out what my strengths are and what I must work on if I am to pursue a career in acting. The course also helped me understand the differences between stage and screen acting, which I didn’t realise are numerous.
