Emily is an actor and writer from Telford, West Midlands. She wrote and performed her solo show BASIC BALD B*TCH at Brixton House in 2024. Keen to share her story with wider audiences, Emily decided to train at Oxford School of Drama to develop tools to support her in this journey. Other work includes: Bella Baldid (Soho Theatre), In the Room (Brockley Jack Theatre) and Mute (The Questors Theatre) which also won the Popelei Seed Commission award. Emily was a Pentabus Young Writer and previously worked as the Literary Associate at London Playwrights Workshop. Her work often aims to empower those with visible or physical differences, drawing on her own experiences of having alopecia.
