Raised in the South Wales Valleys, of Welsh-Slovenian heritage, and fluent in Welsh, Ieuan’s native language and culture has served as a gateway for his love of art and performance. Before training he had competed at the Eisteddfod, taken part in youth theatre groups, and appeared in Welsh-language tv shows. He is deeply passionate about video games and the Fantasy genre, and one day wishes to write his own high-fantasy series. Currently he is trying to learn Irish yet finds himself in a war of attrition against the Duolingo Owl.
