Growing up in the countryside, Jasmine has always been drawn to storytelling and make-believe, often inspired by fantasy books and mythology. With the need for a creative outlet in an academic school, Jasmine filled her time with Youth Theatre Groups, joined Shakespeare and devised shows, and then explored physical theatre in a show that she toured around European arts festivals. Her training with The National Youth Theatre and OSD has given her a great depth of understanding of the artist she wishes to be. Movement is woven into everything she does. As a way into character, but she also moves just for the joy of it. She’s always eager to try new forms—dance, martial arts, somatic work—and she never turns down a challenge.
