Jess is an actor from Sussex, with British and Jewish heritage. Having grown up in an eccentric house in the countryside, her childhood was spent surrounded by nature and animals, where her imagination was left to run wild. As someone with a visual brain, Jess developed her skill for painting from a young age, which later inspired her love for film and cinematography. She has always had an interest in human behaviour and psychology which fuels her acting and the variety of roles she has played, regardless of age or gender. She has a love for comedy and feminist texts – which she hopes to replicate in her own words in the future. She is also a highly skilled horse rider, netball player and singer. During her time at The Oxford School of Drama, she has completed both the Foundation and 3 Year Course.
