Joe was born in Leeds and is currently based in London. Before attending OSD, he studied Criminology at the University of Sheffield, spending most of his time doing student theatre and short films, including the RTS award-winning film ‘Disclosure’. His studies sparked a desire to deeply explore the psychology of the characters he plays. He is a keen writer who hopes to establish his own work once graduating. Outside of acting, he loves wild camping, boxing and embarking on hitchhiking adventures to far-off realms. He is also a songwriter, releasing his own music and playing bass in a band called ‘Steel Frog’ (they play amphibian surf rock).
