Born and raised in London, Joshua grew up with theatre from a very early age, and started acting, singing and dancing from the age of 10. He is from an Ashkenazi Orthodox Jewish heritage. Prior to The Oxford School of Drama, he began his formal training at the Arts Educational Schools London Sixth Form College. He is also a passionate writer of theatre and poetry. His short play (originally titled: Three Dollar Bill) was put on at The Bristol Old Vic through the Youth Company. He is presently working on several other writing projects
