Julia-Hetta was born in Reading before settling in the East Midlands as a teen. Prior to attending the Oxford School of Drama, she began her career with the National Youth Theatre and read English Language and Literature at the University of Oxford. During her time at university, she acted in several theatre productions and short films, including both the London transfer and sold-out debut run of Nina Jurković’s ‘Plus One’. Of Tanzanian and Jamaican heritage, Julia-Hetta is a keen writer who is passionate about telling stories that are close to her heart. She is currently writing her first play which she hopes to develop further upon graduating.
