Maxwell grew up in Godalming, Surrey and spent most of his twenties living in Brixton and Twickenham. Before training at OSD, Maxwell performed with NYT, toured in shows with Yvonne Aranud Theatre, co-founded Gutter Street Productions (a new-writing theatre company), trained as a songwriter, and worked in the Box Office at the Apollo Victoria. Aside from his studies he writes music with his brothers and intends to work as both an actor and music artist. Maxwell also has a love for writing, directing, is a strong swimmer, and avid gardener. He’s possibly the only drama school student ever to have been the school’s groundskeeper during his studies.
