Sharitah is of East African heritage, and grew up between South East London, Switzerland and Sweden with her single mother and two sisters. One of those sisters is Sharitah’s twin in more ways than one, as she is also a trained Actor. Her childhood sparked her passion for travelling and instilled in her a drive to see more of the world. Before her three years in the countryside with OSD, Sharitah trained at The Brit School, Miskin Theatre, Rose Bruford SW and The National Youth Theatre, where she performed a devised collaborative piece at The Royal & Derngate Theatre. She has a passion for dance, fashion, and food from around the world and aims to integrate these into her work. As someone who loves to write, she dreams of creating her own work about women, identity and immigration.
