Sophie Jade Taylor is an Eurasian actor, of mixed British and Chinese heritage, whose upbringing between Hong Kong, Wales, and Northern Ireland has shaped her distinctive voice. Initially studying Law at University, Sophie discovered her love of theatre and decided to invest in developing her craft. Before training at the Oxford School of Drama, she began her creative journey at the National Youth Theatre, Orange Tree Young Company, and New Earth Theatre Academy, which sparked a thirst for further training. Driven by a love for storytelling, she is continually inspired by its power to surprise and connect people. Her training at OSD has given her a new perspective on the actor as storyteller. Sophie also has a strong interest in ESEA cinema and is a Milk Tea Films Community member. Outside of acting, Sophie is a keen marathon runner and sports fan, with a love for swimming and tennis. Staying active is a big part of who she is and fuels her energy both on and off stage.
