Sophie is a Welsh actor who grew up in (sometimes sunny) Swansea, surrounded by like-minded creatives. Immersing herself in the performing arts from a young age, she joined West Glamorgan Youth Theatre Company and the National Youth Theatre. Notably, she played the role of ‘Bess’ in the feature film Shortcut (2020), which solidified her commitment to develop her craft and led her to OSD. It was at OSD that she discovered her love of Dramaturgy, a skill she hopes to continue exploring after she graduates. Outside of acting, you can find her discussing the state of Welsh Rugby, the best charity shops, and how the current political climate affects her generation. She is a proud queer woman who cannot wait to share stories of humanity, in all its weird and wonderful ways.
