Susannah Robbins

Graduation Year: 2025

Graduation Course: One Year Course

Susannah was raised in Cambridge and read English at Oxford. Spending much of her life in mediaeval university towns has left her with an intellectual curiosity for the esoteric, which she believes feeds into her craft as an actor in a lively way. It was while at Oxford that her desire to pursue acting crystallised. There she took part in a number of OUDS productions, including Enron at the Oxford Playhouse and Borchert: A Life, which went to the Edinburgh Fringe. Playing Feste in the Oxford Shakespeare Players’ internationally touring production of Twelfth Night, in association with Thelma Holt, is a particular highlight from her university years. Since then, she has worked for a church and a charity, joined the National Youth Theatre and performed in three 60-Hour Shakespeare productions. Susannah has relished the opportunity to do more of what she loves at the Oxford School of Drama and has benefited hugely from the rich depth of training she has received there. As a woman of faith, she is drawn to stories of redemption and grace and hopes to play a part in telling such stories after graduating.
