Will grew up in rural Northumberland and went to school in Newcastle before being awarded the Acting Scholarship to study at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts. After graduating, Will moved to Bristol to be immersed in the city’s creative scene, working at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre and also in a bank contact centre (the latter giving him a surprising amount of character inspiration whilst also paying the rent). It was this summer that he performed in a brand-new two-hander ‘100 Seconds to Midnight’ at the Edinburgh Fringe, his final play before starting his training at OSD. Will has a great ear for accents and a keen interest in sociolinguistics, which has led to him impersonating everyone he knows. Flatteringly, of course. He is also an experienced singer, having performed in musicals with NYMT and at the Tyne Theatre and Opera House. His other loves include dance music and salt and vinegar flavour everything. In another life, he would be a florist.
