Acting School Success: Tanya Reynolds’ Olivier Nomination for A Mirror

The Oxford School of Drama

At The Oxford School of Drama, we take immense pride in our diverse and talented alumni. Today, we are thrilled to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Tanya Reynolds on her Olivier Award nomination for A Mirror.

Tanya graduated from the One Year Course in 2015 and has since gone on to both stage and screen success. Her stage credits include the Royal Court’s Scenes With Girls and The Orange Tree Theatre’s 2023 production of She Stoops to Conquer. Her screen credits include Netflix’s Sex Education and the 2020 film adaptation of Jane Austin’s Emma.

Tanya’s journey is one of many inspiring stories featured on our “Memories of OSD” page, where she reflects on her time at OSD. In the interview, you can read about why Tanya chose OSD, what she remembers most about her time here, and what lessons she continues to carry with her today.

Tanya’s incredible achievement follows the nominations of Three Year Course alumni Miamuna Memon in 2023 for her performance in the National Theatre’s Standing At the Sky’s Edge and One Year Course alumni Richard Gadd’s 2020 win for his show Baby Reindeer.

We are always so incredibly proud to see the achievements of all our alumni. Our students leave us as imaginative, adaptable, and unique creative talents with much to offer the creative sector and beyond.

Congratulations, Tanya, on this incredible achievement. Your journey is an inspiration to us all, and we couldn’t be prouder to call you one of our own.
