Ella returns for a second season of the BBC’s Call the Midwife as the novice at Nonnatus House, Sister Frances. Ella, from North Yorkshire, graduated from the One Year Acting Course in 2017. Her other professional screen roles have been in the Emmy-nominated series Genius: Picasso for National Geographic and The Last Kingdom for Netflix.
