Alongside her stage and screen work, Catherine is a gender advisor to the UN. She founded her production company, Kusini Productions, in 2020 and published her bestselling essay collection, This Thread of Gold, in 2023. Her second book, Rebel Takes: On the Future of Food, was published in 2024. She was also named on the prestigious Forbes 30 under 30 list in 2022.
