Friends of OSD
Collaborate, Create, Craft
The Oxford School of Drama is an acting school like no other. As a fully independent conservatoire, we are able to:
- Provide entirely vocational training.
- Flex and respond to the demands of a changing industry whilst honouring the traditional craft of acting.
- Offer training to all talented applicants regardless of educational or financial background
- Retain our small student body and 35 contact hours per week.
- Above all, we offer an entirely unique dual training experience. OSD students are able to grow within a nurturing and encouraging environment, free of competing energies, before putting their training into action with a professional London Season in their final term.
Our Oxfordshire home is a place to make mistakes bravely. Where the support and passion of our tutors and staff allow young creatives to discover who they are before they show the world.
We fundamentally believe that through collaboration, creativity, and a commitment to craft, any talented individual can forge a successful career in acting. Talent knows no bounds, and access to our transformative training shouldn’t either. At OSD, our objective is to continue broadening access to our training. In response to this commitment, we are launching an exciting donation membership scheme. The Friends of OSD.
The Friends of OSD is a new way to support the collaboration, craft, and creativity of our students. Structured across three tiers and starting from an annual fee of £100, you can become a Friend to Collaboration, a Friend to Creativity, or a Friend to the Craft. Benefits include recognition of your support on our website, complimentary tickets, and access to an Industry-Exclusive showcase in London.
