Charlotte Miranda-Smith

Charlotte grew up just outside Oxford and trained at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland on their BA Musical Theatre course. She also trained at the Oxford School of Drama on their 2011/12 Musical Theatre foundation course and represented the school as a Finalist in the Stephen Sondheim Student Performer of the Year Competition.

Upon graduation, Charlotte went straight on to play the comedic lead in new Musical CRUSH. She enjoys a varied acting career in Shakespeare, plays and musicals. Most notably, opening Storyhouse Theatre in Chester as Polly Peachum in The Beggar’s Opera, in their inaugural rep Company. She sings in various vocal styles and extremes and loves utilising her musical creativity and collaborative attitude to work with composers and playwrights on the development of new shows.

Charlotte runs her own Theatre Company and Performing Arts Training business, All the World’s A Stage (ATWAS), through which she has set up a unique theatre space: “Theatre on the Farm” which operates from a Mongolian Yurt! She is a Director, Musical Director and provides Voice and Singing support for various companies throughout Oxfordshire/Buckinghamshire. Charlotte has taught singing, voice and acting for various drama schools.

Charlotte teaches on the Foundation in Acting with Musical Theatre course.
