Claire Foy wins ‘Best Actress’ at The Golden Globes

Claire has won ‘Best Actress in a Drama’ at the 2017 Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles. The award is for her role as Queen Elizabeth II in The Crown directed by Stephen Daldry.

The Netflix series has been a huge critical hit – it also won a second Golden Globe for ‘Best Drama Series’. Daldry has said of Claire Foy: “she’s proving to be one of the greatest actresses of her generation”.
