Claire has won a second award for her performance as Queen Elizabeth II in Netflix’s The Crown. The prestigious Screen Actors Guild Awards were held on Sunday 29 January in Los Angeles.
These are known as the awards in which professionals from the US creative industries recognise achievement within their own field. John Lithgow also won an award for his performance as Winston Churchill.
The Screen Actors Guild and American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) represent more than 160,000 US actors, announcers, broadcaster journalists, dancers, DJs, news writers, news editors, program hosts, puppeteers, recording artists, singers, stunt performers, voiceover artists and other professionals. SAG-AFTRA members are the faces and voices that entertain and inform America and the world.
