Lee Rufford wins 2017 BBC Audio Drama Award

Lee has won the ‘Best Debut Performance’ in the BBC Audio Drama awards which celebrate the best of radio. Lee won the award for his performance in The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner directed by Carl Prekopp. The production was made by Goldhawk Essential for Radio 4.

Lee has recently appeared as Michele Solara in Radio 4’s adaptation of Elena Ferrante’s hit novel The Story of a New Name and on stage at Nottingham Playhouse in the Christmas show The Princess and the Frog.
