Babou and Jill Halfpenny will lead the cast in a new four-part drama for the BBC. Dark Mon£y is written by Levi David Addai, who wrote Damilola, Our Loved Boy which also starred Babou.
It has just started filming in Birmingham and will be aired in 2019.
Babou became a Trustee of The Oxford School of Drama earlier this year.
