Dipo starred in both ITV’s Baghdad Central and BBC2’s Inside No.9 on Monday evening at 10pm. Baghdad Central is a new drama set in Iraq after the fall of Saddam Hussein.
It follows former police inspector Muhsin al-Khafaji who, having lost virtually everything, searches for his missing estranged elder daughter. Dipo plays regular character Kellerman in the series. The Guardian gave the series 4 stars. The first episode of the new season of Inside No.9, which was also transmitted at 10pm on Monday, garnered a 5 star review from the Independent. This episode of the hit black comedy series by Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith was set in a football club changing room where Dipo played Calvin Cooke, the United team captain. As well as Pemberton and Shearsmith, the cast also included Ralf Little and David Morrissey.
