Running Time: Max 2 Hours
The Oxford School of Drama would like to invite you to an outdoor performance of a newly commissioned play, The Wedding, performed by the One-Year Acting Course graduating students.
The guests gather. The vows are made. The champagne glasses are raised. But something’s not right.
Over the course of a couple’s wedding, friends, family and strangers collide. The Wedding looks at what people do when the big day doesn’t quite go to plan, and asks the question: what does marriage mean to a new generation of adults?
Directed by Alice Malin (most recently Associate Director at ATC) and written by Joseph Aldous (Get Happy, Soho Theatre Writers’ Lab), the play will be a socially-distanced performance, presented in the Oxford School of Drama gardens (OX20 1ER). To RSVP, please email r.gilmour@oxforddrama.ac.uk with the date and time you would like to attend, how many in your party, whether you are all part of one household and if you have any access requirements.
Due to distancing measures, places are limited and seats will not be available on the door. Full details of how to get here will be sent to those who RSVP. There is no cost for attending.
